MY TESTIMONY
Semi Radravu (Fiji)

Greetings to you all in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I thank God for His humble servant Bro Richard Gan. I came to know him as one of the “fathers” that the Bible scripturally said in 1 Cor. 4: 15; “Fathers - for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.” He has taught me in the foundation of God’s Holy Word.

It was not so hard for a simple fisherman to believe his teachings based upon the Bible like:

1. The Holy City New Jerusalem: Is it literal?
2. The Mark of the Wicked Ones: What is the mark of Cain?
3. The Coming of Christ,
and many more.

My name is Bro Semi Radravu. I have attended every convention here in Fiji since Bro Gan first visited us in 2004. One notable photo on his website has me holding a turtle which I caught especially for him during his 2006 visit.

Six conventions were held through the period of 2004 - 2014 where the work of God was fruitful, but there was always the spirit of Nicolaitans that troubles the churches. And I thank God that in every situation He is the one that guides and protects me all the way, as He leads me, even through dreams or visions through the 21 years that I had walked with Him.

I was baptized in 1992, coming into the message of the hour, and later came to join the Word Christian Fellowship in Suva. During the first few weeks after my water baptism, I joined some brothers who would pray in the mountains before we go down to the streets to share the gospel.

My Dreams

One night while I was sleeping in one of the brother’s house, I saw the Lord Jesus standing not far from me. How He looks cannot be compared to all that the artists have drawn. His feet was not touching the floor as He was like hanging in the air and His garment, or the piece of clothe, that was hanging from His shoulder went right down to His knees and it was white as snow and it's brightness lit up the room that I was in. When He left, all I know was that I was kneeling with my face down to the floor with tears flowing and I was crying as if my father or mother had passed away. What I experienced that night will always remain till I see Him face to face in heaven.

Stones of Fire

During the convention of 2006, one of  Bro Gan's sermons was titled “Stones of Fire” and after his preaching, I went up to be prayed for. The moment Bro Gan laid his hand on my forehead, I felt something heat up on my forehead and it was like fire. After the service we went for lunch at a brother’s (Bro Joape’s) house, and I could still feel that touch of fire on my head till midnight that same day.  It was the touch of a true servant sent from God to perfect His saints in this last days.

Turtle

I made a promise to Bro Gan during his 2005 visit to Fiji that if he comes back the next year (2006) I would catch a turtle for him. Then came 2006 and while Bro Gan was preaching he asked me, Bro Semi, where is my turtle? Only the Lord knew what was in my heart after he (Bro Gan) asked me, and I was desiring after service I had to go out and night dive for my precious Bro Gan's turtle that I had promised. After the service in Nadi, I came back to Lautoka (my home) and prayed, asking God to provide me a turtle. That night when I went diving, the first thing I met on a reef was a turtle. Praise God, He is Jehovah Jireh. After holding on to what I asked for, then the trial came. The boat I was on left and did not come back till sunrise. It was high tide and the weather by then had changed (worse) and I was left there with the turtle. And I was thinking of leaving the turtle but I said to myself, that if this is my last night of diving, then I had to go to the Lord with the turtle in my hand. But glory be to God for He allowed me to keep my promise to His servant. And this is what God had allowed, for this to be a living testimony to the believers found in this perfecting ministry.

Grace be unto you

“To Him who is able to keep you from falling, and to bring you faultless and joyful before His glorious presence; To the only wise God our saviour through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, might and authority from all ages past and now and for ever and ever! Amen” (Jude verse 24-25).
