PHILIPPINES:
APRIL 6 - APRIL 15, 2013

Last December, 2012, I was invited to Manila for the annual convention. It was a time of great expectation for the believers there, concerning a certain promise of blessings from the Lord.  It was also a time of some personal and doctrinal confusion among some ministers and believers; brought about by either a misunderstanding of spoken words or falsehood.

Satan is never at rest when it comes to the Word and the people of God.  He would paint a stroke of grey across a portion of God's Word and create confusion and unrest among the people of God.

The message of this Laodicean Age is clear and simple yet many believers are entangled in the web of Satan's cunningness; he lies in wait to deceive those whose minds are not stayed in the Absolute Word.

In the last 25 years, I have noticed the spirit of Charismaticism snaked into some Bible believing churches in India, Africa, Malaysia and the Philippines. Satan is the God of this evil world and he has every resource to manipulate the minds of God's servants. Charismaticism is nothing but the spirit of chaos. So, lest you think you know what you do not know, take heed to Paul's admonition: "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God" .(Rom 12:2)

After I ministering in Manila, I left for Cagayan de Oro City to a small gathering of believers from a few smaller churches.

On the 5th April, 2013, I saw the need to assist in settling the confusion and so I flew to Butuan City for a few services till the 7th April. The following day I proceeded to Cabadbaran Town for the Ministers' Meeting to iron out the confusion. Not everyone involved were present. However, the meeting went on well for three sessions and problems were quickly ironed out, though some doctrinal issues were left into the hands of the Lord to be resolved by His grace.

In the evenings we had services.  Bro. Lito Ramoso oversees the assembly.

I flew to Iloilo City on the 11th April and had two services in Leon Town, nearly an hour's drive from the city. The fellowship was held in a small hut next to a padi field. The little flock is shepherded by Bro. Andrew Durano. Several believers left the church some years ago to follow Don Parnell's teachings.

On the 16th April, I returned home. And once again the Philippines have rewarded me with a bad throat infection.  J
